October 26 2007: Sustainable Development and Innovation
In the October Edition of KPMG’s Sustainable Insight magazine, a joint Innovaro / KMPG examined the linkages between innovation success and sustainable credentials. Looking at commonalities between those companies identified in the annual Innovation Leaders analysis and those identified as being leaders in the sustainability field by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, this article specifically highlights the recent successes of Toyota, GE and Wal-Mart and identifies five key elements to better integrate sustainable thinking into the innovation process.

April 10 2007: European Business Forum – Corporate Lego
The April edition of the EBF journal included an article by Innovaro exploring how companies in the future will need to be able to plug and unplug resource and capability in an ever more dynamic manner. Highlighting some lead examples of Corporate Lego that already exist, the article looks forward to where most major companies will need to access external innovation capability to keep themselves ahead of the game and simultaneously also exploit their internal innovation capability outside the core business.

January 5 2007: Marketing Week - The Year Ahead 2007
The 2007 edition of Marketing Week's The Year Ahead magazine which largely predicts short term changes, included a short article by Innovaro looking further out. Focused on macro drivers of change over the next twenty years such as population, enrergy, food and water as well as economic change, this piece brings together some of the insights from recent Technology and Consumer Futures programmes to make sense of the probable future ahead and give readers an idea of how the world we live in wiull have changed by 2027

October 1 2006: RSA Journal – Paradigms Lost
Following on from the inaugural RSA / Innovaro Innovation Lecture in June 2006, the October edition of the RSA Journal includes an article examining the phenomenon of disruptive innovation. After setting the scene, it examines three different type of innovation – technology driven, business model driven and customer value driven. The article concludes by looking at how different organisations are seeking to predict disruption and prepare for potential impacts.

September 10 2006: CNBC Europe –The Shock of The New
The September issue of the CNBC European Business magazine included a major article by Innovaro examining whether or not European companies are successful innovators. Drawing on insights from the most recent Innovation Leaders analysis, it highlights that over half of the world’s leading innovators are currently European based and examines what are the common traits and unique differentiators behind this.

September 1 2006: Singapore Marketer –Innovation in Asia
The September issue of the Singapore Marketer, the leading marketing magazine in SE Asia, included an Innovaro article on the state of Innovation in Asia. Based on a recent Innovation Update briefing, it examines the dynamics being created in the region by home grown innovators, foreign R&D labs, venture funds, government policy and education and skills. It then goes on to examine the future looking at which Asian countries are likely to be the future innovation leaders.

July 1 2006: Brand Strategy – Practice Makes Perfect
The July / August issue of Brand Strategy, the leading strategic thinking magazine for the marketing world, included another article by Innovaro looking at how companies are using innovation to drive their brand growth. May 25 2006: European CEO –Innovation in the Boardroom
The May / June issue of European CEO magazine incorporated a recent Innovaro Briefing on Innovation in the Boardroom. Examining the changing role of innovation in organisations and how it has risen up the corporate agenda, this article highlights some of the approaches that are been taken by several organisations in appointing board level innovation leaders. It also explores both how the remit varies in different companies and also how some companies are choosing to use innovation directors or Chief Innovation Officers as catalysts for change, while others seek to give stronger direct accountability.

The May issue of Admap, an eminent magazine for the advertising and marketing communications industries, includes an extensive article by Innovaro looking at the increasingly popular topic of disruptive innovation.
