Asa Lanum, Chief Executive Officer

Asa Lanum joins Innovaro as CEO with a proven record of successful executive and operational experience leading public and private companies. Just prior to joining Innovaro, Asa was Managing Principal and senior technology principal within The CTO Group/QCG. The CTO Group is a technology focused consulting group and the QCG side of the business focuses on working with executive management to assess organizational performance, assists in developing strategies and multi-year plans and augments strategic alignment to achieve operational excellence. His core capabilities include delivering added value strategic planning and technology services clients. For over 35 years, Asa has been responsible for establishing business and operational strategy, with a heavy focus on companies with IT as a business foundation. The blending of business acumen, strategic thinking, planning and technology has enabled Asa to match corporate, brand, product and project deliverables to deliver competitive advantage clients.

Gary Getz, Senior Managing Director, Strategic Services

Gary is the Managing Director and global practice leader of Strategos. He blends customer- and technology-based approaches to innovation and growth in working with clients. Gary focuses on helping companies to liberate the value of the strategic assets within their core businesses, as well as to conquer the organizational challenges of managing core and emerging or disruptive businesses simultaneously.

Mark McBride, VP and Managing Director Europe, Technology Marketplaces

Mark brings with him a 20+ years track record of developing and running companies. He worked initially in the highly competitive London-based publishing world developing business-to-business journals in the life science area such as European Pharmaceutical Contractor and European BioPharmaceutical Review. Since 1997, when he launched the Pharma-Transfer database, he has focused his attentions on the key areas of partnering, technology transfer and IP licensing, working closely with academia and technology-dependent commercial organisations around the world. Mark has run Innovaro’s European operations since 2005, and is now based in York, UK, where he continues development of the Innovaro Pharmalicensing and Innovaro Medical Device Licensing Technology Marketplaces. He has a BSc in Physics from The University of Aston, and is also an Executive Committee member of the Quoted Companies Alliance, representing to the UK government the interests of small/medium quoted companies in the United Kingdom.

Carole Wright, CPA, Chief Financial Officer

Carole Wright is Innovaro's Chief Financial Officer and has served as its Secretary and Treasurer since June 1999. From 1987 to the present, Carole has also been a partner of Myers & Wright, P.A., a certified public accounting firm in Tampa, Florida. She has conducted a diversified accounting practice in Tampa, Florida for 18 years. Carole received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Tampa.

Dennis Hooker, Senior Vice President of Sales

Prior to joining Innovaro Mr. Hooker served as Vice President, North American Sales at ThoughtWorks Studios where he successfully built its sales teams and was instrumental in helping penetrate Fortune 1,000 accounts for its products. Mr. Hooker also held executive level positions at several leading software companies, including Micro Focus, Mercado Software, iTRACS Corporation and Platinum Technologies. In his past positions, he developed and aggressively grew his businesses while simultaneously penetrating emerging markets and gaining new market share. In addition to traditional senior management roles, Mr. Hooker also has an impressive track record of managing channel sales teams and fostering business development opportunities. His past experience coupled with his track record demonstrates that he has the ability to bring significant value to clients by building impressive offerings that are solutions based.
