Organisation Insight: Understanding how, why and where leading innovators deliver their innovation potential

Different organisations adopt alternative approaches to delivering innovation. Some are more successful than others – what is best for one organisation may not be the most appropriate approach for another. Everyone involved in improving innovation performance needs to understand the options available.

There are key questions which innovators must answer: What works? What doesn’t? What are the main structural and cultural influences on the ability of organisations to innovate? Innovaro undertakes and supports a number of research programmes in this area and provides related workshops.

Innovation Performance Research:

For the past five years Innovaro has been undertaking an Innovation Index analysis to identify the innovation leaders across 10 key sectors. This annual update was the basis of a major innovation report for Reuters in 2002 and is used by a wide range of organisations to benchmark their performance

The Innovaro Innovation Leaders programme tracks the interaction between innovation and financial performance across a number of key sectors. Alongside tangible IP based outputs, this also looks at intangible benefits such as brand value and culture

Innovation Workshops
The Innovaro ‘How Organisations Innovate’ workshop has been created to provide organisations with a clear view of the varied innovation options available to them: One participant commented, “This was a very well structured summary of a huge and complex field, and pretty much the best intro to the subject that I've ever seen”.
